How would you like to become a Professional Sports INVESTOR?

When we hear the words sports betting or sports gambling, many have negative thoughts running through their heads. They are the Addicts, Casual Bettors or Wanna Be's (see below).  We treat sports betting as an investment so it becomes a very profitable use of our time.

There are really four types of sports bettors:

1.  The addicts - These are the gamblers that have no control over their betting and tend to lose everything.  They are in it because the action gives them a high.  Needless to say this is not where we should be focusing our attention.

2.  The Casual Bettors - These are the people that like to put a few dollars down every Sunday during the NFL season.  They win some and lose some and really don't make any cash, but don't lose too much either.  They are doing it more for fun while they watch the games on TV .

3.  The Wanna Be a Professional - Are you tired of trying to find different angles, silly systems dated trends or quantum physics to pick consistent winners?  Tailing (or fading) some well known, self promoting tout?  Done with time passing you by while your bankroll disappears?  Come on and admit it, you've tried everything to pick winners and it's just not working.  Sure, you have had some big weeks, but in the long term, can you honestly say you are a winner?

4.  The Professionals - These are the guys that you really don't hear much about, but they fall into the top 1 or 2% of all sports bettors and are the ones which actually make money season after season, year after year.  That's who we are!

Which category do you fall into?  We are professionals!  We are a bunch of guys who played the game, coached the game, and now, make money betting the game.  So what separates us from the rest?  Basically, we take sports betting a lot more seriously than the average gambler.  We treat sports betting as an investment opportunity and keep detailed records.  We have multiple accounts with different sports books to always get the best lines for our wagers.  It's also important to realize what we don't do:
  • We don't bet the ranch on a Lock of the (fill in the blank -- day, week, month, season, year, decade, career, etc); there is no such thing as a "sure thing" and we know it.
  • We don't over-bet the bankroll.  We only use a small percentage of our bankroll for each wager.  We look for small gains and compound them into great returns over time.
  • We don't wager emotionally.  Sure, we have favorite teams/players as fans of the game, but we don't let that influence who to bet on.  We understand losses are part of the deal, and deal with them without changing the overall game plan.
  • We don't change what we do when we have some temporary losses.  We stick to a proven and profitable sports betting system!
